Kalyan Vasanth was born in a family of musicians. Though he comes from a family of Veena artists, he proved his mettle as a vocalist. He became a household name during his younger days through the singing reality shows of Padutha Thiyaga and Sa Re Ga Ma Pa. He was the winner of the show “Padalani Vundi” conducted by Sri S.P. Balasubramanyam on MAA TV.
In spite of working in IT industry after he graduated from Bachelor of Engineering, he always made time for performing in traditional concerts and pursuing formal training and certification in Carnatic music. He debuted as a playback singer for Prabhas and Kangana Ranaut’s movie “Ek Niranjan”. Kalyan Vasanth is always keen to reinvent songs. His latest Carnatic cover of the hit number “Inkem Inkem Inkem kavale” from Geetha Govindam movie was well received by the music-lovers.
MruduRavali Darbha is a Carnatic artist born and brought up in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. She was a disciple of Savita Narasimhan and is a B- High Grade Artist and a CCRT- young artist scholarship holder. She is an accomplished performer in Carnatic, Light and Fusion music. She participated and won various TV reality shows. She was the main female vocalist for the TASC hosted Kuchipudi dance drama “Rukmini Kalyanam” in 2019.
Shri PV Narsimha Rao birth centenary celebrations
June 28, 2020 marked the commencement of the birth centenary celebrations of our former Prime Minister late Shri PV Narsimha Rao. He was a great leader, scholar, statesman, reformist and served INDIA in various positions. He served as Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, Union Foreign Minister and held several ministerial positions both at the state and national level before becoming the 9th PRIME MINISTER of INDIA from 1991 to 1996. He is also well-known for his linguistic prowess as he spoke 17 languages. He was the only Telugu Prime Minister and considered architect of liberalization, globalization and privatization policies which helped INDIA prepare for the 21st Century challenges. Let’s pay tribute to the rich legacy left behind by Shri PV Narsimha Rao by remembering him and his contributions to the country.
